Steering Committee

Formed in 2015 following the Sightlines report that declared Sigma Chi house as unfit, the Steering Committee began to organize its efforts to reacquire the building. Its work consisted of informing alumni about the University of Maine System’s intent to cease usage of the property, while simultaneously nurturing and sustaining undergraduate chapter enthusiasm by focusing recruitment on “Rho Rho Culture”, expanding our network of brothers, and planting the seeds of a financial campaign.

Mission

Our mission is to foster a brotherhood of transformational leaders who are committed to friendship, justice and learning.

In the pursuit of these high ideals, the Alumni of Rho Rho Chapter are able to offer tremendous value in augmenting the collegiate experience and supporting the lifelong journey of each of its members.

We are men of good character. We are fathers, husbands, and community leaders. We are grateful for our life experiences and will utilize them to inspire the next generation.
